While the combination of Rice Krispies and Cinnamon Pebbles cereal gives these treats their crunch and visual appeal, the real secret is a teaspoon of our Amoretti® Natural Horchata Extract, which delivers the warm, comforting horchata flavor the cereal alone simply can’t achieve.
These treats come together in under 30 minutes and are perfect for parties, after-school snacks, potlucks, or whenever you’re craving something sweet with a little extra flavor.

Horchata Rice Krispy Treats
Ingredients:
Directions:
- Grease a 9x13 cake pan with cooking spray. Set to the side.
- In a bowl, add the Rice Krispy and Cinnamon Pebbles cereal. Mix until evenly distributed. Set to the side.
- In the biggest pot you have, add the butter and place over medium heat. Melt until no chunks or pieces of butter remain.
- Once melted, add in all of the marshmallows and with a wooden spoon or heavy duty silicone spatula, gently fold the marshmallows and butter together, making sure the butter is evenly distributed so it doesn't burn! Stir continuously until completely melted. You will know the marshmallows are melted when no lumps remain and you are left with a silky marshmallow consistency.
- Remove the pot from heat.
- Add in the horchata extract, vanilla bean paste, and cinnamon powder. Stir together thoroughly.
- Once mixed, add in the cereal and fold together until all the pieces are coated.
- Transfer to the greased pan and gently press down on the rice krispies until a smooth, even layer forms.
- Let rest at room temperature for at least 1 hour or until it has completely cooled.
- When ready, remove from the tray and cut 12 slices.
- Enjoy!
